Crossroads I/O is Free Software, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL) version 3, or, ar your option, any later version.
Briefly, the LGPL allows you to use Crossroads I/O in any applications, both Free Software and proprietary.
However, if you make any changes to the Crossroads I/O library itself, you should contribute them back to the project.
Additionally, the copyright holders of the Crossroads I/O project grant you a special exception to link the libxs library statically with any applications, including proprietary and commercial ones.
